Laurel Miller
Laurel was an early member of Hope, who was called to the mission field in September 1996. She has served with Wycliffe Bible Translators in many different capacities as a linguistics translation worker, administrative assistant and most recently a language programs coordinator. Laurel currently serves in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Africa.
Tom & Sandy Brown
Tom & Sandy were members of Hope who committed to be long-term missionaries in Oaxaca, Mexico in December 2004 with Wycliffe . Tom served as general maintenance technician. Sandy worked in an administrative capacity and at a birthing center to care for young moms. They are currently training to bring the gospel to those with addictions in Mexico.
Dave & Mindy Nelson
David is the president of Crossing Cultures International. While studying language & culture in Mindanao, Philippines, the Lord gave him a vision for equipping and multiplying pastors and church leaders. By God's grace, this ministry has 275 training classes in 20 countries, with 4,000 pastors and church leaders in training and 2,000 pastors & leaders having completed this training.
Jim and Eileen Nielsen
Jim & Eileen serve with TEAM in Japan (The Evangelical Alliance Mission.) Their life verse is 1 Thess. 5:24 “Faithful is he who calls you and he will bring it to pass.” Over the past 30 years they have served with TEAM in the following ways: Church Planting (1990-2011), Earthquake/Tsunami Outreach (2011-2013), Field Leadership (2014-2019), Church Planting (2021). Returning to Japan in 2022, they continue church planting with the Gifu Grace Church in central Japan. Jim will be teaching, preaching, discipling, and counseling. Eileen will be counseling, hosting small groups, and providing hospitality.
Jeff Potts
Since August 2021, Jeff has been a campus minister who serves with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, working with international graduate students at Boston University and Harvard. While loving students from all over the world, he specifically reaches out to students who come from the Muslim world through evangelistic friendships, investigative Bible studies, and discipleship with Christian students who want to reach their Muslim friends. Jeff is passionate to see Muslims presented with the Gospel while they have the freedom to be curious in this country, including those who come from unreached people groups, and hopeful to equip Muslim background believers in faith for when they return home or wherever they go after graduation.
Jonathan & Amanda Vining
The Vinings live and serve in Medellin, Colombia. Their ministry is to the people there, and consists of many different responsibilities. Jonathan and Amanda are leading worship, supporting Colombian missionaries, supporting the local church, helping with ministry teams from the states, helping with local ministry teams, and carrying the presence, power, and love of God to the poorest areas of the city.
Joe and Jill Vincent
Joe and Jill combine their love for Christ with the love of the military as part of Cadence International. They are the house directors at the hospitality house near the Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany. Joe and Jill work shoulder to shoulder with the military chaplains near their assigned post. They provide an open door with home cooked meals, as well as weekly Bible studies and Christian mentoring to the soldiers and families stationed at Spangdahlem.
Mario and Jennifer Vucenovic
Mario and Jennifer are serving in Croatia. Their vision is to establish a bible based church and a local community of believers who are passionate about the gospel because of what God has done for humanity. They strive to proclaim, teach, and follow the life examples and teachings of Jesus Christ for God’s glory.
