OUR TEAM
Lead Pastor - Ryan Kiefer
I have been serving as the Lead Pastor at Hope since 2010. I am passionate about serving and teaching the body of Christ, and do that in part through preaching weekly. Connecting relationally with the body is important to me as part of the ongoing ministry of Hope. Twice a year I teach our Discovering Hope Class where I have the privilege to meet those interested in becoming a part of the community of Hope. Some additional components to my role as senior pastor include working as a team with our elder board in business, prayer and spiritual growth, planning & leading our Leadership Team Meetings, mentoring men to rise in leadership, overseeing our staff, and being available to the body of Hope.
Assistant Pastor - Kyle Fulks
I oversee Student Ministries and the Worship Arts Ministry. My wife and I are passionate about bringing the Gospel to life by growing discipleship-based relationships and providing opportunities for students to minister in both the church and the community- that their lifestyles may be marked by the love of Christ to the glory of God. Whether working with teens or adults, It is my goal to equip the saints for ministry.
Pastor of Discipleship - Dave Shalaway
My wife, Carol, and I have been married 36 years, with three grown boys: Quin (married to Erica), Ethan and Elijah. We keep active with ministry at Hope, nursing at Lehigh Valley Hospital, enjoying our grandchild Jujubee, officiating basketball games, and landscaping. I play many forms of golf, including a hybrid game I invented called OneClubGolf. We love hosting friends, coffee, the beach, javelins, music, movies and the outdoors – but not as much as Jesus. I lead the Colson Fellows Philly Cohort and the Issachar Imperative, a group that hosts nationally known biblical worldview teachers.
